Christine Smith is a permanent makeup artist, who founded Permanent Impression in June 2015. At a very young age, Christine knew that one day, she would own and operate her own salon; so, she began to carve her path and pursued a career in the beauty industry at the age of sixteen. Her love for the beauty industry naturally progressed and in 2002, she enrolled in Molar Beauty College and continued her education in 2009 at Victoria Beauty College in Houston, Texas. In 2003 the vision Christine had as a young girl came to fruition; she partnered with an old friend and opened her first salon, Modern Nails 2, and from there, a second location in 2011.
Christine has been practicing since February of 2010 and her passion rests in all things exquisite and beautiful. For many years, she has adorned women with beautiful nails, perfectly arched eyebrows and enhanced their facial features with semi-permanent techniques such as Microblading or Microshading. Christine says, “encouraging, inspiring, and motivating women to be amazing not only brings much joy to my heart but liberates my soul”. Being successful in her career is a success in itself, but the countless relationships established over the years with her loyal, loving clients afforded an opportunity to open a second salon in 2011 and a third location in 2018.
When Christine isn’t creating beautiful eyebrows, she enjoys being a mother to her daughter, Isabella. She believes that “Life is truly Short, so do what makes you MOST happy”.
